📋 About Kenya Society for the Deaf Children (KSDC)
The Kenya Society for the Deaf Children (KSDC) has been a dedicated advocate for the rights, welfare, and education of children with hearing impairment across Kenya. At Kuja Comprehensive School for the Deaf, KSDC has played an important role in promoting awareness about the rights of deaf learners, encouraging inclusive education, and advocating for equal access to quality educational opportunities. Through its efforts, the organization has continued to amplify the voices of children with hearing impairment, ensuring that they are recognized, respected, and given every opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Their programme help special schools provide a better learning environment, improve educational outcomes and promote the overal well-being of the Deaf children.
Over the years, KSDC has also supported our school by helping identify and mobilize sponsors for needy learners. In the past, the organization facilitated educational sponsorships that enabled many vulnerable children to remain in school, complete their education, and pursue brighter futures. These sponsorships brought hope to families facing financial hardship and contributed significantly to the academic and personal growth of many of our learners, several of whom have gone on to become responsible and productive members of society.
Although such sponsorship support has not been available in recent years, we remain deeply grateful for the positive impact KSDC made during those earlier years. The lives touched through your generosity and advocacy continue to stand as a testament to the value of investing in the education of children with hearing impairment. The foundation you helped build continues to inspire hope within our school community.
As Kuja Comprehensive School for the Deaf continues to face increasing educational and financial needs, we humbly appeal to the Kenya Society for the Deaf Children to renew and strengthen its partnership with our institution. Your continued advocacy, support in sourcing sponsors, and collaboration with other stakeholders would make a profound difference in the lives of many deserving learners who still struggle to access quality education. Together, we can continue to protect the rights of deaf children, restore hope to vulnerable families, and ensure that every learner has the opportunity to learn, grow, and fulfill their dreams.
