The Board of Management (BOM) of Kuja Special School for the Deaf is committed to providing visionary leadership, sound governance, and effective oversight to ensure that the school continues to offer quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education. As the governing body of the institution, we work closely with the Ministry of Education, the school administration, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to create an environment where every learner is valued, respected, and empowered to achieve his or her full potential.

At Kuja Special School for the Deaf, we recognize that every learner deserves equal access to quality education regardless of disability or background. The Board is dedicated to promoting an inclusive learning environment where learners with hearing impairments receive the necessary educational support, guidance, and opportunities to develop academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and vocationally. The Board of Management ensures that the school operates in accordance with the policies and regulations of the Ministry of Education while maintaining the highest standards of accountability, transparency, and integrity. We oversee prudent management of school resources, promote financial accountability, support staff development, and ensure that all decisions made are in the best interest of our learners and the institution. We are committed to improving and maintaining the school's infrastructure to provide a safe, accessible, and conducive environment for teaching and learning. The Board continually supports the development of classrooms, dormitories, sanitation facilities, learning resources, sports facilities, the school farm, kitchen, transport services, and other essential amenities that contribute to the holistic growth of our learners. We understand that quality education flourishes where learners have access to adequate facilities and a secure environment.

The Board also places great emphasis on academic excellence and the holistic development of every learner. We encourage innovation in teaching, the integration of technology, participation in co-curricular activities, sports, educational tours, life skills programmes, and vocational training. By supporting these initiatives, we prepare our learners not only to excel academically but also to become confident, responsible, self-reliant, and productive members of society.
