eKitabu has been an outstanding and transformative partner of Kuja Comprehensive School for the Deaf, making a significant contribution towards improving literacy, academic excellence, and educational opportunities for our learners. Through its commitment to inclusive education, eKitabu has organized numerous seminars, workshops, and educational programmes that expose our learners and teachers to innovative learning approaches, modern educational technologies, and best practices that enrich the teaching and learning process.
This is one organisation that has critically stood with the school. They are upbeat in improving access to quality and lucrative education for learners with disabilities.
Our school has benefited on matters Teacher training, digital literacy, lucrative promotion of inclusive education as well as teacher employment.
More to that, our learners have participated in writing of essay competition, training as well as ------------.
Those who performed well have worn gift vouchers, digital laptops, writing materials, T-Shirts as well sponsorship interms of school fees.
One of eKitabu's greatest contributions has been the provision of books and other learning resources specifically designed to support learners with hearing impairment. These materials have enhanced classroom instruction, strengthened reading culture, and improved access to quality educational content. In addition, eKitabu has generously sponsored the education of some of our vulnerable learners by paying school fees, ensuring that financial hardship does not deny deserving children the opportunity to continue their education and pursue their dreams.
eKitabu has also hgone further to employ for us one EDCE Teacher as well us advocating for more Teachers from the County Government of Migori.
Our learners have also greatly benefited from the opportunities provided by eKitabu to participate in seminars, conferences, and academic competitions organized by the Foundation. These events have enabled them to interact with learners from other institutions, showcase their talents, build confidence, and broaden their knowledge beyond the classroom. Through essay writing workshops and competitions, eKitabu has nurtured our learners' creativity, critical thinking, communication, and writing skills, empowering them to express their ideas confidently despite the communication barriers associated with hearing impairment.
